Solar Plexus, Manipura Chakra(third chakra), yellow chakra, “sun of the body”(c. haanel)—–these are some of the names for the energy(chi, Qi, or Prana seated in the area of the solar plexus).Native Americans call this energy The Great Spirit. I am most familiar when it is described as Chi,knowledge gained from the study of Kenpo and Shotokan Karate years ago. Chi is a word originating from the Chinese word meaning life force. As I begin my study of the Master Key System, Haanel has continued to remind me of the flow of energy within our bodies as we negotiate through life towards a higher purpose. I read in section 6:12 that “the nervous system has been compared to an electric circuit with its battery of cells in which force is originated”. I am especially focused this week on the power of Chi, that energy that is seated at the solar plexus and spreads outward through my body to my outer world. I have studied yoga a little—– my practice sporadic. I had not studied chakras and only realized the 3rd chakra was also called the “yellow chakra” as I began a little inquisition for my week 6 blog.
As I progress in my MKMMA travels I have been incorporating shapes and colors into my life, really loving this addition to the class. A red circle signifies my PPN of Liberty and a green Triangle my PPN of True Health. I have added a giant yellow circle signifying Love, suggested by Haanel as the “sun of the body”, unbeknownst to my conscious mind; I imagined a radiating yellow circle, alive with energy, surrounding my solar plexus area. My subconscious mind went wild with this concept—-desiring to incorporate other experiences formed deeply in my body. And, so it is, coming together for me in ways miniscule and just a bit larger, or maybe more significant.
I am able to imagine my solar plexus glowing with Love, protection from negativity and toxic influences. In my mind, the light shines bright. When I see a yellow circle, or even the color alone, I bring it to my body and feel peace and loving energy radiating throughout.
